Dive a Little Deeper...

My family and friends are very important to me as well. I enjoy speding time camping, playing games,  and just talking with them.

When I am not teaching I spend a lot of time helping and volunteering with P.O.E.T. Animal Rescue. I am a memeber of their fundraising team, help with events, and foster dogs for the organization. I have a passion for helping people as well as animals.

I am currently a First Grade teacher at Taylor International Academy in Southfield, Michigan. Our school is a K-8 building. I absolutely love teaching First Grade and seeing my students develop into inquisitive learners.

Right now I am working to obtain my Masters of Arts in Education with a concentration in Special Education from Michigan State University. I plan to further my education and become certified in Special Education in the near future.

I graduated from Michigan State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. I am certified to teach K-5, Mathematics 6-8, and English 6-8. After graduating I completed a year long intership at Bryant Elementary in Flint, Michigan.
